Honestly, I am not a big fan of burger. It is not because I hate fastfood or I care about my health. A real reason is... It's too small for me....

After I went to "The counter Burger", My opinion is changed....

The decoration of this restaurant is really my type. It's blue and brown, kind of ratro theme that I like. Also the chairs are made from metal (suit for my butt).

This is very impressive!!!!! I can choose and mix whatever I want!! It is actually Jaa's order. My order is double in quantity!!!

Whatever you say It's burger....

This is the best Apple Pie milk shake I have ever had!!! (For sure, this is the first time that I have Apple Pie Milk Shake) but to be honest, I really like it. very very rich. It is possible that there are just Ice cream+ Apple Pie and a touch of milk in there. HAHA

I order 450 g. burger with everything that I can choose..... That's too much....

This is Jaa's Burger.... 180g. less than half of mine.

As u can see.... Im sure Im gonna enjoy my lunch.

Highlight of the day. they call 50/50 fried Sweet potatoes and Onion. I really like them!!!

Eat Till Die (Spanish Version)

Finally, I can make it again. I have full of my respect to the people who can usually post the things in their blog quite often. I found out that it might be one of the hardest thing in the world.
After being lazy and eat instant noodle at home for a while. I decided to make somethings that relate to my job a little bit. Here we go, "Paella"

First one is the rice. I use the short grain rice from Spain. Look at the package, "Suitable for Paella". It means if I mess up with my Paella this time, I have to excuse. hee hee. never ever!!!

These are some ingredients that Im gonna add into my Paella.

1. Roasted Articokes (Marinated in apple venegar, herbs, olive oil)

2. Citrus chicken (Marinated in Lemon zest, Orange zest, Orange juice, Olive oil, Herb, S+P)

3. Herbs (Rosemarry, Thyme)
4. Sofrito (Slow cooked capsicums, tomatoes and onions)

The seafood that Im gonna throw in my dish (I though its not gonna be enough at the first time)

Infuse the herb, garlic and saffron into the olive oil first

Add rice and cook for mins till the rice start to change the colour a bit

Add my Sofrito and cook for 3 mins maybe. cant remember. Also add salt too.

Add white wine and reduce then fish stock

Once rice started to suck the juice a little bit, place pieces of fish and squids on the top

Let it cook for a while then add chickens, Prawns and the rest of ingredients on the top

Because I smart enough to not spend 100+ dollars for the Parella pan ans also my lovely bloody electric stove doesn't work too well. That's why I have to do this to make it cook evenly.

Meanwhile, I have to cook my crabs and mussels seperately because the pan is not big enough. Right now I realise myself that I might be too hungry when I started to make it.

Once I take the foil out add all ingredients on the top. I have to ask myself...... "Where the hell is my rice?"

However, it's not bad at all. :-)

Heard from so many friends that there is an indonesian restaurant opened in the town. So I checked it out!!

Yeah for sure, this is a menu...

Deep fried chicken serve with calamarised shallot sauce. Sweet and salty with a dash of lemon. Not bad at all but if they can serve it in a bigger potion

Their special fried rice. just a seafood fried rice served with pieces of shrimp cracker. As you can see from the bottom left of the picture. you can see a white spot in the fried rice. it's a rice that they didn't mix well when they cooked it. sad.

Lamb curry. Simple.... very simple, I'm cool with the taste but if they add 6 pieces of lamb more, perfect!! HAHAHA

Yeah I did complained a lot but I finished it all. :-)

If my blog is a house, it's gonna be haunted already.

Finally, I do remember my password. There are so many things happened since I did my last post. I worked in a Spanish restaurant as a head chef for a while. After that got some problems with the bloody Korean owner. As usual, we talked about the problems and I asked him politely to go and get _uck. Therefore, I gotta find a new job. Who's care??!?

Right now I got a job already. It's a Thai restaurant call "Longrain" but I'm just only one Thai in the kitchen!! Incharge in a Wok section. Gonna start on the 5th May.

That's mean before the 5th I have a holiday..... Here this is what I did. I went to the Easter show.

I had a very high expectation to have a big fun there. However, everything is not perfect.

These are shops that sell the same stuff that you can win from the games. It for the person who want to get a stuff but never won the game..so buy it.. loser. Yeah I bough it too......

Some machines are way too crazy. It for the girls who ate tons of chip in the show and just realised that she made a mistake. Just get on the machine, everything will come out after that.

I spent most of my money on the foods!!! this hot dog is super big!! After I posted it on my facebook, everyone though I turn to be gay...

I should put my hot dog through the holes there!!!! god!! that holes suck my money!!!

You claim to the top and slide down with a mattress. I will give 50 dollars to anyone who dare to slide down without it. Then use my money to buy a new jeans

This is the best restaurant of the trip!! This restaurant is recommented by my personal guide!! She's the best but talk too much sometimes!!! HAHAHA kidding la, just dont hit me.:-)

This is the best!!!! mix mushroom, arrot and minced chiken inside. really Yum!!! I saw the proess when the chef make it. really amazing.

Pan fried duupling!! Yummy but Fatty!!! however, forgaet about diet today HAHAHA.

This is a prawns dumling noodle. The dumplings are so big!! can fix 2 whole prawns inside!

This is the one I had. Stewed beef noodle soup!!! They add dried squid into the soup. real good taste. Also the noodle are so thin!!! Really good texture.

This is the best dessert of the trip!!!!!! It likes a HongKong mango pudding but it is made from milk!!!!! They serve hot or cold. I have to order both cos my personal guide want it....

All finish in 15 mins. God!!!

This is one of a good things in China. There is a small road that full of small shops. Yeah, almost every shops there sell a Southern Chinese food only.

It locates at the middle of the shopping centre. Look at the people there, god, cant even move!

This is quite surprise me. these tako balls are everywhere in the world. the problem is the taste is really bad. I ant find an octopus in some balls. sad....

Yeah, this is the one that I shown u before. Dead octopus' arms... The spices is very similar to the Moroccan's spices. Touch of spicy..

Ummm... what should I call this, Chinese candy??? Yeah should be called that way. God, honestly, it doesn't taste like candy at all.

This shop sell just deep fried dishes. everything that they can find, throw it into the pan. that's it.

Ok, Im quite impress with thi restaurant once I first saw it. full of fresh ingredients. Customers choose what do they wanna eat. they put everything in the pot. Here you are, youe suki yaki....

This is a sesame paste or something. really strong in flavour and very thick. They try to convince all of the customers that they made it by hands. Honestly, I saw a blending machine at the bak of the shop!!!!!

It would be nice to warm myself up a abit in the middle of winter... but at the time it's 30 degree!!!!!!

This is what??? I dont know! It's a mixer of nuts and mushrooms inside and wraped by rice flour or somethings. It looks so yummy once I buy it, how come, it taste like Shit!

This is HUGE!!!!!! everything in this shop is so HUGE!!! , Scallop here big as my hand!!! God the shell is so big but the meat is same size as here. Sad. Chinese people got me again.....

Everytime when i ask my friends to recomment me about the best restaurant in the town. everyone tell me to go to this restaurant.

I have to wait at the front of the restaurnat for 30 mins before I get in and it's Wednesday. The menu looks good and do you see the brown box??? that's a tissue. And I gotta pay for it if I want to use. Yeah, they wont get my money for stupid reason like this. I use their table cloth to wipe my mouth!!!!!

This is what I order. Roasted goose and Pork's rib congee. The goose is extreamly fat!!! but I love it!!!! really good!!!! For the congee... WOW!!! very strong flavour and aroma!!!! LOVE LOVE

And this is another dish. it's a minced chinese fish with a long green bean, stir fry in XO sauce. It's good!!!! but not healthy at all.

This is dessert. Hightlight of this dinner. for every desserts in this restaurant, we have to order 30 mins in advance. really yummy and really HOT!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

One day in China

One u walk through the road in china. Im sure, u will see so many things that always surprise u. This is one of 12 days that I stay in China.

This is the thing that very popular in China. Amost everyone one the road is having this while they are walking. Shit.... that needs skill to walk and eat this in the same time.

This is a bubble tea shop. This is a very commercial one. It looks cute but taste just so so.

There are some ummm waht should I call these... should be Chinese art work. I were very enjoy to take a photo with them. really fun!!

It's a chinese jelly. It's very thick and elastic.it even be able to stick on it while im walking. confirm..... taste less but i dont know why, people keep buying this thing.

OK OK!!!! this is a highlight of the day!!! this is how they serve the noodle beside the road.they put the plastic bag on the bow then noodle. once customers finish their food. Throw the plastic bag away, then re-use the bow again.

Havn't been to this blog for a while. Anyway! I would love to show u guys some of my extreamly surprise trip! First one I would love to show u guys about what do theyhave in fast food

First is KFC!!! YES!!!! They serve Congee as a breakfast!!! GOD!!!! It's not bad at all!!

Second one is Mcdonald. Ther are some burgers that different from the others. Unfortunatly, I were too hungry to take a photo. therefore........ here u r... just a breakfast menu. all the same, just taste less and chinese charactor on it.

Hhere we are!!!! Chinese Bruce Lee F_cking spicy fastfood shop!!!!! very interesting um....

Asian pasta and Duck's boobs!!

Once u work as a chef in an Italian restaurant... u cook pasta all the time... once ur friends visit ur place and they ask u to cook pasta again!!!!! U have to make somethings different!!!

Here it is!!!!

Pasta with Roasted Pork! serve with roasted vegetable and caramarised soy sauce
(Roasted pork is easier than I though)

Another friend is on diet..... dont wanna have roasted pork (next time dont come haha). So I made Thai garlic pepper prawns pasta for him

And Finally, Duck boobs with my sauce (Orange, duck stock, soy sauce and honey). serve with risotto and vegetable.

I love duck boobs!!!!! Actually, we didn't called duck's boobs at school.

Just My Lunch

Ummm..... such a boring Saturday once all friends went some where for holiday..and yeah! I got nothing to do (refuse to call Hong :-D). So, I come up with an idea that I'm gonna cook my own lunch!! I got an idea from Mediterranean and Asian combine together.

Here these are ingredients

Jumbo mushroom (U can see how big when compare with 1 dollar coin)

I used spoon to make a small pocket inside the mushroom for my filling.

Yeah! The most important ingredients...... Sake...hahaha

Stir fry rice, mushroom (the one that I dig out from the big mushroom), pine nuts, garlic, spring onion, soy sauce, sugar and SAKE

Put that fried rice inside my mushroom, cover with foil and bake in an oven for 25 mins

Here! this is my lunch!

This one is not about cooking. Here we go.

Sticker photos, It was very very popular when I were in junior high school. In my class, anyone

who has a date with a girl must take this kind of photo to show friends that he actually had a

date. Otherwise, no body gonna believe him (Actually, they try not to believe) HA HA HA that's

stupid. Anyway, I never took that thing before....(doesn't mean I never had a date la). Once I am

here I mean Sydney, I started to get involved in to this thing sometimes by my friends (I

actually can not get into this thing, I just feel so shy every time when I take this thing). These are

my fasta pasta hee hee.....

Ok ok ok. My first blog..... start with this one... Fasta Pasta..

I went to the market in darling harbour with P' Jaa, Ping and his friend (sorry cant remember ur

name). While I were walking around the market... I just got an idea to pick some igredients from

the shops round that market and make dish for them...

firstly I got.....

Black pig sausages (nice and tender, not too much fat and there are truffle inside......yumm)

After that we still keep walk around and around..... then we got......

<------- Shitake mushroom from the supplier (very meaty taste.

how can we call that shit... Umami, right?)

Parsly..... fesh from grocery... shouldn't say it right? actually got from

that market too organic one. --------->

ok now... after I got some ingredients.... I have decided

to make a pasta..... and suddenly.... im at the front of cheese shop..... I were really impressed by

truffle cheese (the one on the right). it was aromatic but... if I use just that cheese... the aroma of

the truffle gonna over power to other ingredients.. so... I decided to get another chedda... which

is light in taste and aroma to balance it. (sorry for the bites.. really cant control myself. :-P)

Finally.... without this one, I cant make pasta... yes... homemade fresh pasta...

After get many ingredients, we decided to get back home cos if we buy anything more... we

better to go to the restaurant.... :-)

Cooking Process

start with chopping jobs

Sliced mushroom. The reason why I decided to slice not to dice them cos..

im lazy.. noway! slice it, let them suck more butter and still keep there texture!.. yeah, I choped

Parsly too. Chop it last cos it turn a chopping board to green colour once I chop it...

Pasta!! once cooked.. dash of olive oil on top!

Sausages. I squeezz it off by my hnds to

make it like a meat ball. Brown them in

olive oil then add rose marry for aroma.

then keep in bow

Saute' mushroom with garlic and butter.

Add soy sauce and ground chili (my special asian ingredients) a bit of suger too. :-)

DONE!
